This Privacy Notice explains how OddsNavi collects and uses personal information.

OddsNavi is operated by Benten Guru Ltd, company number 14478260, registered at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX.

Benten Guru Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under registration number ZC241810.

Benten Guru Ltd is the data controller for personal information collected through OddsNavi.

1. Information we collect

Account information

When you create and use an account, we collect:

• your email address;
• an account identifier;
• email verification status;
• confirmation that you are 18 or over;
• records of your acceptance of our Terms and Privacy Notice, including the version and time of acceptance; and
• login and account-security information.

We operate one account per verified email address.

Conversation information

We collect the questions and other messages you send to OddsNavi, the responses generated by the service and feedback you provide.

Conversation information is associated with your account so that the service can operate as a continuing conversation.

Technical and usage information

We collect technical information needed to operate and protect the service, which may include:

• IP address;
• browser and device information;
• login and security records;
• timestamps;
• session information; and
• information about use of OddsNavi features.

Referral information

When you follow a bookmaker link from OddsNavi, we record information needed to identify the outbound referral, such as:

• the bookmaker;
• the OddsNavi page or partner source;
• a referral, campaign or partner identifier; and
• the time of the referral.

The exact attribution arrangements vary between bookmakers and affiliate networks.

Some arrangements may provide information back to us confirming or attributing activity arising from a referral. Others may operate essentially as one-way traffic from OddsNavi to the bookmaker.

We do not need your bookmaker password, payment-card details, bank details or bookmaker account credentials to provide OddsNavi.

If our affiliate data flows materially change, we will update this Privacy Notice where required.

Creator and partner information

If you access OddsNavi through a creator, publisher or partner-branded page, we record that page or partner as the source associated with your use of OddsNavi.

Communications

If you contact us, we collect the information contained in your enquiry and our correspondence with you.

2. Why we use your information

Where we rely on legitimate interests, those interests include operating, securing, improving and commercially supporting OddsNavi while respecting the rights and interests of users.

OddsNavi uses automated processing to help identify safety-related information in conversations and, where appropriate, to apply safety-related restrictions to the service.

3. Artificial intelligence

OddsNavi uses third-party artificial intelligence services to understand user questions and produce conversational responses.

When you send a question, relevant content from your conversation may be sent to an AI service provider for processing.

We may use or change AI providers as the service develops. We therefore describe these providers by category rather than promising that a particular provider will always be used.

AI services help interpret questions and generate conversational language. Betting prices and other structured betting data are obtained from separate data sources rather than being invented by the conversational AI.

AI and other technology providers process information subject to the contractual and data-protection arrangements applicable to the services we use.

4. Sensitive information in conversations

OddsNavi does not need you to provide information about your health, medical conditions, ethnicity, religion, political beliefs, sexual life or other sensitive personal matters.

Please do not include this information in your OddsNavi conversations.

Because OddsNavi provides a free-text chat, you may nevertheless choose to include personal or sensitive information that we did not request.

If you do so:

• it may be stored as part of the conversation you submitted;
• we may use limited safety-related information to operate our safety controls;
• we do not use it for advertising or marketing based on the sensitive information;
• we do not provide the full conversation to a creator or partner;
• you can remove it using the deletion controls available for your conversations or by deleting your account; and
• where sensitive information is specifically brought to our attention, we may redact or delete it where appropriate.

If gambling is causing you harm, you do not need to provide medical or other sensitive details to OddsNavi. Specialist gambling-support services are listed in our Terms.

5. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information.

Technology providers

We share information with categories of service providers that help us operate OddsNavi, including providers of:

• hosting and infrastructure;
• databases and authentication;
• security and operational services;
• communications;
• artificial intelligence; and
• other technical services needed to operate OddsNavi.

Providers may change as the service develops.

Bookmakers and affiliate networks

When you follow a bookmaker link, referral information may be transmitted to the bookmaker or an affiliate network so that the referral can be recognised.

Once you leave OddsNavi and use a bookmaker's website or app, information you give directly to that bookmaker is handled under the bookmaker's own privacy policy.

Depending on the affiliate arrangement, the bookmaker or affiliate network may provide attribution information back to OddsNavi.

Creators and partners

If you use a creator or partner-branded version of OddsNavi, that creator or partner may receive:

• the number of users or sign-ups attributed to its version;
• aggregated usage information; and
• aggregated, obfuscated or otherwise de-identified summaries of what users are searching for, such as broad categories of events or markets.

We take reasonable steps to avoid partner reporting identifying individual users or revealing individual private conversations.

We do not provide creators or partners with your email address, OddsNavi account credentials or the full text of your private OddsNavi conversations unless we specifically tell you otherwise and have an appropriate basis for doing so.

Other disclosures

We may also disclose personal information:

• where required by law;
• to regulators, courts or law-enforcement bodies where appropriate;
• to professional advisers;
• to protect our legal rights or the security of OddsNavi; or
• in connection with a sale, investment, merger or restructuring of Benten Guru Ltd or its business.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

OddsNavi uses cookies or equivalent browser storage where necessary for functions such as authentication, security and maintaining your session.

When you follow a link to a bookmaker, that bookmaker or its service providers may use their own cookies or tracking technologies once you reach their service. Their privacy and cookie policies apply to those technologies.

The technical method used for affiliate attribution may vary between bookmakers and affiliate programmes.

If OddsNavi itself uses non-essential analytics, advertising, referral-tracking or similar browser technologies that require consent under applicable UK law, we will ask for that consent before using them and provide a way to change your choice.

7. International processing

Some service providers used by OddsNavi may process personal information outside the United Kingdom.

Where UK data-protection law treats this as a restricted international transfer, we use an applicable adequacy arrangement or other appropriate safeguards as required by law.

Because our technology providers may change, this Privacy Notice does not promise that all processing will always take place in a particular country.

8. How long we keep information

Account information

We keep account information while your account remains open.

If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise account information where reasonably practicable, except for information that we are permitted or required to retain for purposes such as:

• legal or regulatory obligations;
• fraud and security;
• accounting and transaction records;
• records of terms or consent where relevant; and
• establishing, exercising or defending legal claims.

Any information retained for those purposes is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for that purpose.

Conversations

We keep your OddsNavi conversations for the life of your account unless you delete them using the deletion controls available through the service.

Deleting your account also causes conversation information associated with the account to be deleted or anonymised, subject to any limited information we are permitted or required to retain.

Technical, referral and other records

Technical, security, safety, referral, support and similar records are kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which they were collected.

Relevant factors include operational requirements, security and fraud-prevention needs, affiliate reconciliation, legal obligations and the period for which information may reasonably be required to establish or defend legal claims.

When information is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it where reasonably practicable.

9. Your rights

Under UK data-protection law, depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to:

• access personal information we hold about you;
• correct inaccurate information;
• ask us to delete information;
• restrict certain processing;
• object to processing based on legitimate interests;
• receive certain information in a portable format;
• withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and
• object to direct marketing at any time.

We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

10. Account and conversation deletion

You can delete individual conversation information using deletion controls made available through OddsNavi.

You can also delete your OddsNavi account. Account deletion is treated as closing the account.

Deletion does not necessarily require us to erase every record immediately where we are legally permitted or required to retain limited information for one of the purposes described in section 8.

11. Under 18s

OddsNavi is not intended for anyone under 18.

We require users to confirm that they are 18 or over.

If we become aware that an account is being used by someone under 18, we will take reasonable steps to close the account and delete the associated personal information, subject to any information we are permitted or required to retain.

12. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, disclosure or alteration.

No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

13. Changes to this Notice

We may update this Privacy Notice as OddsNavi, our data practices, our commercial arrangements or the law changes.

Each version will carry a version number and date.

Where a change materially affects how we use your personal information, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to your attention.
