OddsNavi FAQs
What is OddsNavi?
OddsNavi is football research and odds comparison you can talk to. Ask about a football match in normal language and we can help you look at recent form and statistics, find upcoming fixtures and compare current bookmaker prices.
What does it cost?
OddsNavi is free to use. We may earn money from bookmaker partners through affiliate arrangements.
Do you take bets or hold my money?
No. OddsNavi isn't a bookmaker. We don't take deposits, hold your betting money or ask for your bookmaker password. If you want to place a bet, you do that directly with the bookmaker.
Why do I need an account?
You can see an example without signing in. To use the live OddsNavi chat, including current odds and research, you need to verify your email address, confirm that you're 18 or over and accept our Terms & Conditions.
Where do the prices and stats come from?
From specialist sports-data providers. We use their data to compare bookmaker prices and to look up team and player statistics.
Is the AI making the numbers up?
No. Current bookmaker prices and the underlying research data come from our data providers, not from the AI. The AI helps understand your question and may summarise or calculate from that data. If we can't give you a reliable comparison or a reliable stat, we'll say so rather than guess.
Do you compare every bookmaker?
We compare a selection of UK bookmakers and exchanges. Which ones have prices available varies by fixture and market.
What does "best odds" mean?
It means the best price we can find among the bookmakers included in that comparison at that moment. It doesn't mean the best price anywhere in the market.
Does a bookmaker partnership affect which price ranks as best?
No. Commercial relationships, affiliate links and promotions are separate from the price comparison. A worse price won't rank above a better one because of a partnership.
What can I ask about?
Football. We can find upcoming fixtures, compare prices in five markets, and research recent team and player form. The supported competitions are the same across OddsNavi, while market coverage and research-data availability vary by capability. We'll tell you plainly if we can't answer what you've asked. OddsNavi compares prices before an event starts, so we don't cover live betting.
Which competitions do you cover?
Premier League, EFL Championship, EFL League One, EFL League Two, FA Cup, EFL Cup, Scottish Premiership, League of Ireland Premier Division, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, and UEFA Conference League.
Which competitions can you research?
Research is available across the same supported competitions, but it uses a different data provider from odds comparison. Availability therefore varies by team, player, fixture and statistic. If the research data you ask for isn't available, we'll say so rather than guess.
What markets can you compare?
Match result (who wins, including the draw), total goals over or under a line, both teams to score, draw no bet, and double chance. We don't currently cover handicap or Asian handicap markets, correct score, half-time markets, corners, cards, or player-specific betting markets like anytime scorer.
Can you look up team or player stats?
Yes, for football, over a team's or player's most recent matches — up to the last 10. For a team we can look at goals scored and conceded, and expected goals (xG) and expected goals against (xGA). For a player we can look at shots and shots on target. We don't currently track corners, cards or referees, we don't do season-to-date splits, and we don't hold a fixture-by-fixture head-to-head history between two specific teams. If we can't answer a stats question, we'll say so and tell you what we can check instead.
Can I ask about statistics and odds together?
Yes. You can research recent form or statistics and compare current bookmaker prices in the same conversation.
Can OddsNavi tell me what I should bet on?
No. We can explain betting markets and compare prices, but we don't tell you which bet to place, how much to stake or whether a bet is good value.
Why is the price different when I get to the bookmaker?
Odds can change quickly. We show the latest price available to OddsNavi, but the bookmaker's price is the one that counts when you place the bet. Always check it before confirming.
